ARTWORK DESCRIPTION:
This was something I created with a lot of joy flowing through me at the time. The inspiration was simply a color palette of tropical hues, put together in a very abstract piece that beamed with rays of sunshine and “holiday vibes”.
I had recently returned from a trip to Bali when I had the vision for this painting. What I felt being there, I brought it to life on canvas. The serenity of blue, turquoise waters, combined with the playful hues of oranges, pinks and yellows seen all around the little islands in restaurants, through the streets, in tourists’ sundresses and the endless variety of fruits that felt sweeter than summer love. That was everything I hoped to bring into this painting, with an easy flow of vivid colors that the viewer can resonate with on many levels, and a final piece that brings an atmosphere of joy into any room.
